Clive Lawler

Clive is an Education graduate from Rand College of Education and has a post graduate qualification, MA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University in USA. Clive is fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Currently he serves Marketplace leaders and is based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Clive specializes in Intercultural Communication Training and this ranges from one-on-one facilitation and coaching to large group training programs.

Clive has also been a trained facilitator for various group programs for African Enterprise since 1999. These include Leadership Development, Team Building, Communication and Presentation Skills, and Conflict Management workshops.

He has also been trained as a facilitator of Guaranteed A-PLUS a Study Skills system focused on High School learners. Clive has also designed and delivered a range of executive training programs and processes including – developing shared visions, running Mastermind accountability groups, team-building, assertiveness and empowerment interactive workshops. His client list includes organizations such as Heartlines, Black Eagle Training, Capacity Outsourcing on behalf of Unilever, ACSI South Africa, Corporate Cleaning , Crown World Wide Relocations, Communicaid and Crossover Transformation Leadership.

In 2004 Clive was invited to join the International Faculty of the Haggai Institute, an Advanced School Of Leadership based in Singapore and Hawaii. As a faculty member this enabled Clive to train senior leaders from South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Clive also served as an Adjunct Professor for Azusa Pacific University, California overseeing and developing the curriculum for Intercultural Communication in their Abroad Programme for foreign students based in South Africa.

He is the local representative for Unashamedly Ethical in Pietermaritzburg. Clive who has 35 years of teaching experience is currently the Head of Heritage Academy, a combined Independent School in Pietermaritzburg and is an Intercultural Consultant to a number of overseas companies.

He is married to Ada, a school teacher and is the father of two adult children Timothy and Rebekah. Currently he and Ada are the Assistant Pastors at Israel Assembly Church.
